10:10 I’ve put him to bed, but he’s secretly holding hands and having fun with Akko-chan next door. As they don’t appear to be sleepy, I rattled the bamboo wind chimes in the middle of the room, and made them both smile.

11:05 Puree (¼ cup), meat broth (small amount), boiled spinach with soy.

As soon as one mouthful is gone he cries for more. I pop in another: mumble mumble, all smiles, then another squawk. I’m afraid I may have given him too much in the end.

11:35 He was out like a light the moment I let him down from the rocking cradle. Both he and Akko-chan are fast asleep with their arms and legs stretched out. To bed.

12:45 Boo-hoo, I’m hungry.

12:55 Formula (200 cc).

He sucks so hard he keeps flattening the nipple. Howls every time I go to fix it. “You’ve taken it away!” Drank it all in only ten minutes.

1:10 Cradle.

1:50 BM. Good stool.

When I hung a rattle from the bamboo wind chimes and set them swinging, he was very impressed. After he got bored with that he started smiling at me, and when I spoke to him he pushed against my chest and sprang his legs up and down.

3:00 Starting to whimper. “Oh, I’m so bored.”

We’ve been to observe our friends the Violets crawling.

They’ve got a nice sunny spot.

3:40 Hot honey drink (130 cc).

4:00 Nodded off as he finished. Didn’t wake even when I put him to bed.

4:55 Formula (200 cc).
